The Chattanooga Habitat ReStore offers FREE pick-up services of your furniture and donated items. By contributing to the Chattanooga Habitat ReStore, you’ll know that your donation is going to help others in your community. Currently, our selection of items we pickup is restricted. Please review the list of items we are able to pick up below.

Donations We Accept
We gratefully accept a variety of items in good, reusable condition.
- Furniture – sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, bed frames, outdoor/patio items
- Appliances – washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, and other working household appliances
- Building Materials – lumber, doors, windows, flooring, and other usable materials
- Cabinets & Countertops – kitchen and bathroom cabinets (assembled)
- Tools & Hardware – power and hand tools, plumbing, electrical, and hardware items
- Home Decor & Housewares – dishes, glassware, cookware, lamps, framed art, and other household items
Please note: We reserve the right to refuse any donation that is not in acceptable condition or cannot be safely used.

The positions below highlight the types of roles that may be available from time to time. While we may not always be actively hiring for each one, you’re welcome to submit a ReStore Job Interest Questionnaire, and our team will reach out if a position becomes a good fit.
ReStore Associate – Assist customers, organize merchandise, and keep the sales floor welcoming.
ReStore Receiver – Accepts and processes donations, moves and loads heavy items, and assists donors and customers.
ReStore Truck Driver – Safely pick up donated items and represent Habitat in the community.
ReStore Truck Assistant – Support donation pickups, loading, and customer interactions.
ReStore Assistant Manager – Help lead daily operations, support staff, and drive store success.
