HFHGC is seeking bids for site development for a multi-family neighborhood off Shallowford Road.


Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is seeking bids for horizontal site development of land located at 7437 Shallowford Road.  

The ideal proposal will include all aspects of horizontal development including utility connections, but consideration will be given to proposals with multiple aspects included.  

Please review the files available at the following link: Shallowford Hites Site Development, and submit sealed proposals by 2:00PM on February 12, 2026, to the Habitat office at 1201 East Main Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408. All questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing. Responses to bidding questions will be issued only by written addendum. HFHGCA utilizes both private and public funding which may include HOME grant, CDBG, THDA, and other sources for some of our projects.  We abide by all city, state, and federal regulations such as, but not limited to, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246.

Addendum No. 1: This addendum clarifies the project scope, identifying included and excluded site work, and provides multiple updates to civil drawings and specifications. It also revises the bid date, includes pre-bid meeting information, and adds a new retaining wall specification required as part of the contract.

Addendum No. 2: This addendum includes revised site grading and landscape drawings that replace the original Bid Set sheets, along with details for the pre-bid meeting and the final deadline for submitting bid-related questions.

Addendum No. 3: This addendum removes the termite control specification, revises and reissues multiple civil and landscape drawings, and provides bidder questions and answers addressing site utilities, construction scope, permitting, insurance, and coordination requirements.
