Why Shallowford?

In August 2023, Drs. Ruth and C.Y. Liu, through the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, donated 4.8 acres of land to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga.

Located across from the Shallowford Road YMCA and just one mile from Hamilton Place, the site offers access to schools, transportation, and jobs — yet affordable housing remains limited.

Shallowford changes that.
