Looking for a practical way to make a difference in Chattanooga?  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga strengthens our community by helping low-income families become homeowners.  In the process, vacant properties are returned to the tax rolls, property values of surrounding homes increased, but most important, Chattanoogans are mobilized to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors.  While government funds are used for infrastructure and site development costs (when available) construction of our homes, from the foundation up, is exclusively supported by people and organizations in our area.
