WHAT IS RESTORE?
ReStore is a store that accepts donations of new and gently used items from individuals and businesses in the community, and sells those items to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50-70 percent of the original retail value. All proceeds go toward building Habitat homes with the local Habitat affiliate.

The Habitat ReStore was opened in 2004 as a fundraising division of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, supporting the mission to develop a community with people in need by building homes, so that people can live and grow into all that God intended.

OUR MISSION
Help build more homes. Generate funds to cover operational costs allowing Habitat for Humanity to build more homes in Chattanooga. This provides the opportunity for more families to buy a decent, affordable home of their own.

Help the environment. Recycle and reuse saleable building materials. This outlet keeps thousands of pounds of materials out of landfills each year.

Help other homeowners. Provide new and used home improvement materials at affordable prices to people of all income levels, promoting the maintenance and repair work that can reduce the incidence of substandard housing.
