Volunteers must schedule hours in advance and we respectfully ask you to stay your entire shift. A signed waiver must be received by staff before you may volunteer. You must be 16 years or older to volunteer.

Construction Site:
Learn new skills! Get outside! Meet new people! Come build with us! No experience is necessary and all tools are provided.
Crew Leader: Help Habitat for Humanity lead small groups of volunteers.

Construction Assistant: Assist our construction crew with preparing sites.

ReStore:
There are countless ways in which you can make a difference at our ReStore including volunteering as a Cashier Assistant, Donation Processor, Donation Recruiter, or on the Pricing Team.

Office:
Data Entry – Data entry is an essential!  It allows us to stay in contact with our donors and customers to inform them about upcoming events and sales.  We provide training for our database, but request a person with computer literacy.

Committees & Other Roles:

Marketing & Events: Assist Habitat for Humanity as a Communications Intern, Community Event Team Member, Event Planner, Graphic Designer, or Marketing Advisor.

Construction Committee: Assist our building program as a Construction Safety Advisor, Green Advisor, or Site Development Assistant.

Volunteer Committee: Engage more Chattanoogans as a Young Professionals Coordinator, Youth United Coordinator, or Hospitality Coordinator.

Family Services: Provide support to our partner families as a Family Advocate, Family Selection Committee Member, or Partner Family Education Coordinator.

ReStore Events & Programs: Increase the success of our ReStore serving as a Annual Donation Drive Coordinator, Contractor Donation Recruiter, Design Workshop Series Coordinator, or EBay Auctioneer.
