Cheryl D. Marsh

Director of Family Services 

 

Cheryl Marsh has experience as a professional communicator and affordable housing/homeownership advocate. A native of Memphis, she attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Two weeks after graduation, she began her professional career in the Scenic City as a copy editor/reporter for the former Chattanooga Times. She most recently worked for the Chattanooga Housing Authority as the Homeownership Coordinator. Cheryl enjoys working with young people, and spent more than a decade volunteering with Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Chattanooga. She is a Youth Counselor at her church where she also serves as the Clerk, Bible Study teacher and Board Member of the church’s nonprofit organization. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, listening to music, mentoring young people and spending time with family. She is married and has one stepdaughter. Her parents and other close relatives still reside in Memphis. Cheryl’s motto for life is: “With God, all things are possible!”
