About the House
America’s Home Place, the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union and 26 other Chattanooga businesses are partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga to build home for a Chattanooga family on the grounds of this year’s Riverbend Festival. At the conclusion of the festival, the home will be move to its permanent location on Scruggs St.

“America’s Home Place is the Covenant Partners for this build,” says John Atherton, Habitat’s executive Director. “We are grateful as well to the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, our Presenting Partners, for their support as well.”

“Thanks to all of our partners, festival goers will, for the 2nd year in a row, have the opportunity to witness the construction of a Habitat home, and learn how they can make a difference in the community says Atherton.

New This Year – The Make A Difference Village
Next to the house this year is a special area devoted to information and activities about how you can make a difference in our community.
